Permission-based messaging

Messages that keep your customer relationships alive

FriendlyNotifications sends SMS, WhatsApp and email on behalf of your business, to customers you have already served and who gave you permission to contact them.

What messages are sent

Three types, and nothing else. This is not a bulk advertising platform, and businesses cannot compose free-form campaigns.

1

Follow-up after a service

A few months after a job is completed, the customer receives a greeting from the business letting them know it is still available to help. The business chooses the interval.

2

Birthday greeting

On the customer's birthday, if the business has that date on file and the customer gave permission.

3

Holiday greetings

Christmas, New Year and other holidays for the business's country. Each business chooses which ones to enable.

How often

A few messages per person per year: typically between two and five. There are no daily or weekly sends. Message and data rates may apply.

What a message looks like

From: Hernandez Auto Shop
Hi Juan, this is Hernandez Auto Shop. It has been a while since your last service and we are here whenever you need us.
Reply STOP to opt out.

Every SMS carries opt-out instructions. The sender is always the business you know, not us.

How consent is obtained

No message is sent unless the person gave prior express permission. This is how it works:

Opt-outs are honoured immediately and permanently, through any of the methods described on the opt-out page.

Your business dashboard

If your business already works with us, this is where you manage everything: your customers, the jobs you completed for them, the messages about to go out, and this month usage.

Your customers

Add, correct and remove them. Name, phone, email and date of birth. Each record carries its own permission, channel by channel.

Jobs

Record a job and mark it complete. On completion the system schedules the follow-up message on its own, for however many months you chose.

Messages

See what is scheduled before it goes out and cancel it if you need to, review what was sent with its real delivery status, and see what was skipped and why.

Your plan and usage

Billable units used this month, how much of the quota is left, and the breakdown by channel. Invoices are issued by Friendly System Group LLC.

Open the dashboard

Accounts are opened by Friendly System Group LLC; there is no self sign-up. If your business does not have one yet, get in touch. soporte@friendlynotifications.net

The dashboard will not let you message a contact with no permission on record. It is not a warning: the send is blocked.

Who sends and who receives

Every message is sent by a business to its own customers. FriendlyNotifications is the tool that business uses: we have no end customers of our own and we send nothing on our own behalf.

Responsibility for the data

The business is the controller of its customers' data. FriendlyNotifications processes it solely on that business's instructions and for the purposes described here.
